This post is about 30 things you can do when you’re bored.
This past couple of weeks have been really stressful due to the coronavirus. Schools have shut down, businesses’ have closed and tons of events and trips have been canceled.
It is important that we are using our extra time in positive ways. Slow down, reach out to your community, call that old friend, learn a new skill and spend more time with the people that you love.
Be thankful for your health and most importantly keep those being truly affected by this illness in your thoughts and prayers every day.
Keep spreading positivity and kindness. The world needs it more now than ever.
With this in mind, I have found myself with A LOT of extra time on my hands. I came up with this list of 30 things to do while you’re home to help pass the time.
1. Volunteer remotely:
There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer and make a difference in your community remotely. Here are some ideas.
-When schools close, kids who need food the most, lose access to meals. Wherever you live in the country donate or volunteer at your local food bank.
-Call nearby group homes to see if you can provide companionship via phone calls to residents who are unable to leave their rooms or host visitors.
