Shows

1. New Girl

New Girl is my all-time favorite show! It’s a comedy starring, Zooey Deschanel as Jessica Day. After an awful break-up, she moves into an apartment with three single men she’s never met before. Jess finds a way to befriend the men in the house and soon they are all best friends. The show is hilarious and totally binge-worthy!

2. The Office

The Office is my second favorite show! This show follows the lives of office workers who work at a paper company. The personalities of multiple characters often clash which is hilarious!

3. Gilmore Girls

Gilmore Girls is a show about a young mom, Lorelai and her teenage daughter, Rory. They live in an adorable (fake town) in Connecticut called Stars Hollow. I love this show because of the close relationship between Rory and her mom.

4. That 70’s Show

That 70’s Show is a comedy set in Wisconsin in the 1970s. The show follows a group of teenage friends and their coming of age. Eric Forman is the head of the group who has the basement where he and his friends spend the majority of their time. The friends that make up the group are all hilarious in their own way!

5. Jane The Virgin

This show is modeled after a modern-day telenovela. Jane, a young Catholic woman discovers that she was accidentally artificially inseminated. Her life takes an unexpected and dramatic turn when she finds out that she is pregnant.

I’m so excited that Victorious is finally on Netflix! If you haven’t seen Victorious yet the show is about Tori Vega and her friends. They all attend a performing arts high school called Hollywood Arts. When I was younger I always wanted to go to Hollywood Arts for High School. Victorious is such a funny show and always makes me laugh.

16. Fuller House

I loved Full House as a kid and think Fuller House is a cool concept as well. It’s definitely not the same as Full House but it is still a cute show.

Movies

19. He’s Just Not That Into You

I recently watched this movie on Netflix and loved it! The movie tells the story of friends and lovers who try to navigate their way through relationships. If you’re looking for a good romantic comedy definitely watch this movie!

20. After

This movie is based on the book After written by Anna Todd. The book is fantastic (a must-read if you haven’t yet) and in my opinion, the movie doesn’t do it justice. However, the movie is still enjoyable to watch!

After is about Tessa Young a dedicated student, perfect daughter, and loyal girlfriend. Tessa enters her first semester of college and soon her sheltered world opens up when she meets Hardin Scott, a mysterious rebel who makes her question what she really wants out of life.

21. Love Jacked

When I started watching this movie I did not have high hopes for it but I actually really enjoyed it! Love Jacked follows the life of Maya, a creative artist who travels to Africa for inspiration and returns with a fiance.
