The Best And Most Affordable Mattress Toppers You Need For Your College Bed!

When I was getting ready for college last summer I had no idea how important a quality mattress topper was. Once I saw the mattress in my dorm room I was so happy that I had a topper.

The cool thing about mattress toppers is that they can make the most uncomfortable bed the coziest in seconds.

The mattress topper that I used for my freshman year was nice but not my favorite. I thought it would be helpful to write a post showcasing the best and most affordable ones from Amazon. I hope this post helps you!

*Disclaimer: I have not personally tried the mattress toppers below. I picked the ones that are most like the topper I recently got for my birthday, without being as expensive. All of these toppers have amazing reviews as well!

1. Best Price Mattress 4″ Memory Foam Mattress Topper, Twin X-Long’

I wanted to include this mattress topper first because it reminds me of the one I recently got for my birthday the most but is more affordable. Mine is also 4 inches of memory foam, just like this one, which I swear is the best!

This mattress topper has a ton of great reviews on Amazon and is actually recommended by one of my favorite bloggers, Sophia on bysophialee.com.

Remember to buy this mattress topper in a size Twin X-Long to fit most dorm beds!

2. Linenspa 3 Inch Gel Swirl Memory Foam Topper – Twin XL

This mattress topper is made of 3 inches of memory foam which is one inch less than the one above. However, it is infused with gel to help regulate temperature.

If you get hot easily during the night, this topper may be a better fit for you.

I do want to say though, that I have a 4-inch memory foam topper like the one above and I don’t find temperature to be a problem.

3. KARRISM Extra Thick Mattress Topper (Twin XL), Cooling Mattress Pad Cover Topper

This one is a little different than the toppers above because it is a mattress pad cover instead of being a foam top. It’s extra thick and is a great way to make an old (or awful college dorm mattress lol) feel brand new.

The best part about this topper is that it’s machine washable which makes it’s super easy to clean.

4. COONP Twin XL Mattress Topper, Extra Thick Mattress Pad Cover

This mattress pad cover is similar to the one above. It’s extra thick and machine washable which makes it easy to clean.

It also has amazing reviews on Amazon. People rave about how soft and fluffy this topper is and how great it is at restoring old (or awful) mattresses.
