I'm glad you're here!

My name is Emily and I started Positivity is Pretty six years ago when I was in college. Back then, it was the place for all things college, roommates, and dorm decor. Since then, it has grown with me into a space to reflect on life’s messy, busy, and beautiful parts while practicing real, intentional positivity. While you’ll still find pieces of college life and other popular content here, my hope is to use this space to write about apartment life, relationships, making friends in your 20s, healthy habits, and finding ways to enjoy movement. My goal is that Positivity is Pretty helps you notice the good and find calm through life’s ups and downs.
